Kevin Allsopp

Vice President - Canada

Kevin is responsible for the Calgary Regional Office including all of the Projects and Modification work conducted in Canada (EPCm) and providing support and infrastructure to Specialist Technical Solutions (STS) in Canada. With over 30 years of Oil and Gas project experience in Western Canada and internationally, he has worked on the both the owners and the contractor’s side. Kevin attended the West Bromwich College of Commerce and Technology in the UK and is a graduate of both the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and the University of Calgary. All other Vice Presidents in the Calgary Regional office report to Kevin..

Hans Verwijs

VP Onshore, Oil Sands & Facilities

As Vice President of Project Management, Hans is responsible for all project managers, procurement and project controls. Hans oversees the standardization of project execution documents and reports and the refinement of project execution processes.

Hans has over 25 years in various industries, such as electronics manufacturing, defense-sector system engineering, high-tech project management and oil and gas. Previous experience at Wood Group Mustang includes scheduling and cost estimating, project engineering, project management and his most recent role as Manager of Projects.

A lifelong learner, Hans enjoys being both student and teacher. Hans has earned various diplomas and certificates from the University of Calgary and SAIT, and teaches Project Management courses at SAIT part-time.

Hans holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Waterloo and a Masters of Applied Science (Metallurgical Engineering) from Dalhousie University, and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), and is a registered Project Management Professional (PMP).

Bob Fournier

Vice President Automation

As Vice President Automation, Bob Fournier is responsible for providing Automation group with new opportunities for growth, employ shared service project resources from the wider Wood Group while also providing local direction and leadership to the Automation engineering employees.

Jaye Selin

Vice President Onshore Pipelines

As the Vice President Onshore Pipelines, Jaye’s primary responsibilities are to provide leadership on the day-to-day operations of the Canadian Pipeline Group and to drive Wood Group’s continued growth in Canada through the execution of pipeline-based projects. With over 22 years of engineering and project execution experience that includes pipelines and pipeline facilities, Jaye brings a strong and diverse experience base to this role.

His previous roles have included project management and engineering for green-field and existing facilities, pump stations, storage facilities, meter stations, LACTs, pipeline systems and pipeline facilities.

Additionally, he has been involved in the development and management of engineering standards and related processes, and the management of integrity programs and maintenance procedures. Jaye is a licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Leslie Poon

Vice President Automation

As Vice President of Finance, Leslie provides oversight for matters related to accounting and finance, including reporting, budgets, taxation, and financial risk management.

Alexandra Milner

Health, Safety, Security, and Environment Manager

As the HSSE Manager, Alexandra reports directly to the Vice President of Canada to ensure that leadership is actively involved and committed to creating a safe working environment. Alexandra is involved with corporate and project HSSE system development, management, and administration.

Marc Stone

Director of Quality Assurance

As Director of Quality Assurance, Marc is responsible for corporate quality management system processes, project quality assurance, and vendor surveillance activities. Marc has over 20 years in various industries, including automotive, mining, cement and aggregate, and oil and gas. Marc holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland, is an International Welding Engineer, a Level 3 CWB welding inspector, and an AWS Senior Certified Welding Inspector.

Trevor Egginton

Commercial Director

As Commercial Director, Trevor is responsible for negotiating and maintaining Corporate Contracts; works with the Business Units to develop rates and other costs for the projects executed thereunder; and with finance and the business analysts to manage the financial performance of the projects undertaken.

Trevor has over 30 years’ experience in various disciplines including design, sales and marketing, procurement and contracts administration, and in a number of market sectors including automotive, steel production and distribution and E&P consultancy; primarily serving the UK offshore and Canadian oil and gas industry. Trevor has earned various academic qualifications in both the UK and Canada including English Language and Literature, Business Studies and Commerce.

Outside of work Trevor continues his interest in English Literature and has completed a number of online courses in the subject. He also enjoys sport (although nowadays more spectating than participating) and cycling, and is an active volunteer in his daughters’ school and dance activities.

Behzad Shojaie, P. Eng., MSc

Advisor, Project Execution / VP Engineering & Design

As VP Engineering & Design, Behzad is responsible for all Engineering & Design Departments , Engineering Management and Project Engineers. In addition to his role he is representing Wood Group Canada as board member and Director of Projects for our Joint Venture as well as advisor for major project execution.

Behzad joined Wood Group following his 6+ years as President/Program Director of our very successful joint venture dedicated to Cenovus project work. With a background in Process Engineering , EPC project execution and PMC Behzad has built a 36+ year career in the International & North American upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas industry. He also has extensive experience in technology selection, clean energy, power generation, and mineral processing.

Behzad holds B.Sc. Mechanical & Turbo-Machinery Engineering from Iran University of Science & Technology and M.Sc. Mechanical Process Engineering (Thermo-Fluid) from Sharif (Ex-Arya Mehr) University of Technology. He is a member of APEGA, APEGS & PMI and holds certificates and training of Six Sigma, Performance Behavior Leadership, ISO9000/14000, IPA, PDRI, Project Management & Process Hazard & Safety/Integrity Management.

Scott Rempel

Vice President Business Development and Strategy, Canadian region

As Vice President Business Development and Strategy, Scott Rempel is responsible for fostering client relationships, identifying strategic opportunities to grow our business, as well as overseeing marketing and communications activities.

An accomplished sales and marketing professional with a strong depth of experience, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. His employment experience spans a number of industries, including media, real estate, electricity, oil and gas, and most notably, engineering.

An alumnus of the University of Calgary, Scott earned both a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, and a Master's degree in Business Administration. He has project management and executive leadership experience combined with a strong sales and marketing background.

A serving board member of the Canadian Heavy Oil Association (CHOA), Scott is very active in the heavy oil and oil sands communities.

Scott is a positive role model for youth in our community. He leads and mentors in a volunteer capacity as a minor hockey and little league baseball coach. He is also a student mentor through the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business.

Born in Saskatchewan and raised in Calgary, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, running, golfing, guitars, skiing.
